The results of progress made in the study of mechanisms of photosynthesis during the last quarter are reported. Mass spectroscopy studies of photosystem II donor reactions have continued. Photooxidation of hydrazine and hydroxylamine is described. Experiments on tetraphenylboron oxidation by photosystem II are described. Metal-containing proteins in the electron transport chain involved with photosynthesis are being investigated. (DMC)
