Development drilling, production and maintenance of slant conductor wells in the Morecambe Gas Field

The recovery of hydrocarbons from the Morecambe Field off the North West coast of England required the design of special drilling rigs while the necessity for maintenance of slant conductor wells led to the design of a wireline gantry. In the context of the Morecambe Field, the use of slant conductor wells has been a success and will be further employed in the development of the field.
