To estimate the resultant financial impact of integration corncob gasification into existing farming systems for grain drying, FORTRAN simulation programs were developed for cob collection in the combine grain tank and in a trailing wagon. Existing farm machinery was adapted to cob collection during the 1980 corn harvest and data from field tests were in economic and energy cost analyses. ref.
