In the UK sector of the North Sea, over 20 gas-condensate discoveries contain probable and possible reserves of 16-28 trillion CF of gas and 1.5-2.6 billion bbl of liquids. Reserves offshore Norway could hold 63-87 TCF and 2.6-3.6 billion bbl in over 10 condensate fields. These fields are already providing an appreciable portion of Norway's gas production and soon will be the major source of Denmark's gas. The UK, however, is just finalizing plans to develop the first two or three of its condensate reservoirs.
