A neutron diffraction study of KC/sub 8/(d/sub 001/=5.35 A), KC/sub 48/(d/sub 001/=15.44 A) and KC/sub 24/(C/sub 6/D/sub 6/)/sub 2/(d/sub 001/=9.2 A) intercalation graphite compounds has been performed in view of their use as large wavelength neutron monochromator. The peak and integrated reflectivity for (00l) type reflections, the width of the rocking curves and homogeneity of the samples were investigated.
