Studies of the microscopic physical and chemical properties of graphite intercalation compounds. Progress report, July 1, 1982-June 30, 1983

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:6264295
Optical spectroscopic (Raman, reflectivity), low-temperature electronic transport, superconductivity, hydridation, Moessbauer spectroscopic, and structural and neutron scattering studies were conducted on graphite intercalation compounds. The superconductivity of KHgC/sub 8/, KHgC/sub 4/, KTl/sub 1/ /sub 5/C/sub 4/, KC/sub 8/, KC/sub 24/, RbC/sub 8/, and CsC/sub 8/ was investigated in particular. 10 figures. (DLC)
