Heating water and other recent experiences in our greenhouses

The difficulties of shape, double glazing, insulating and shading attached solar greenhouses are studied. A passive solar water heater that shades the greenhouse while pre-heating domestic hot water has been recently installed at the Kelbaugh Residence. Its design, early performance and cost are described.
