Proposed 1974 Outer Continental Shelf oil and gas general lease sale offshore Louisiana. OCS sale no. 33. Volumes 1-3

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:6448004
Two hundred and fifteen tracts (952,592.48 acres) of Outer Continental Shelf lands are proposed for leasing action. The tracts are located offshore Louisiana; 12 tracts (69,120 acres) are situated in water depths of 300 m or beyond. If implemented, the sale is tentatively scheduled to be held in early Spring 1974. All tracts offered pose some degree of pollution risk to the environment and adjacent shoreline. The risk potential is related to adverse effects on the environment and other resource uses which may result principally from accidental or chronic oil spillage.
