g factor of the 30. 6 sec 11/2/sup -/ isomer /sup 195/Au/sup m/

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev. C; (United States)
Using the technique of nuclear magnetic resonance on oriented nuclei, the magnetic hyperfine splitting frequencies ..nu../sub M/ = g..mu../sub N/B/sub HF//h of the 11/2/sup -/ state in /sup 195/Au (T/sub 1/2/ = 31 sec; E = 319 keV) in Fe and Ni have been determined as ..nu../sub M/(/sup 195/Au/sup m/Fe) = 979.8(4) MHz and ..nu../sub M/(/sup 195/Au/sup m/Ni) = 226.3(2) MHz. Taking the known hyperfine fields of /sup 197,198/Au in Fe and Ni and correcting for hyperfine anomalies a value of Vertical BargVertical Bar = 1.123(17) is derived for the nuclear g factor of /sup 195/Au/sup m/.
