Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:6408410
This document describes studies of ionizing irradiations as motivating stimuli. Aversion to saccharin fluid by rats was conditioned over a wide range of dose rates and durations. Pigeons were exposed to x-rays in known doses to demonstrate perception of radiation as a warning stimulus. The author traveled to the US Naval Radiological Defense Laboratory and conducted a research project on the electrophysiology of a moth's eye. 5 refs. (TEM)
