Proliferation of rat aortic endothelial cells following x irradiation

The proliferative response of rat aortic endothelial cells following irradiation was measured using autoradiography of tritiated thymidine-labeled ''hautchen'' preparations. No increase in labeling index was observed for periods as long as 15 weeks following radiation doses of up to 2000 rad.
