Dynamics of reactive systems. Part 1: Flames; International Colloquium on Dynamics of Explosions and Reactive Systems, 11th, Warsaw, Poland, Aug. 3-7, 1987, Technical Papers

Conference ·
OSTI ID:6363284
Papers are presented on the relationship between ignition delay and reaction zone energy release, methane ignition in reflected shock waves, and ignition processes of falling droplets columns behind a reflected shock. Also considered are the systematic reduction of flame kinetics, aliphatic hydrocarbon combustion, and the stability of a premixed laminar V-shaped flame. Other topics include dynamic effects of flame baroclinicity, a possible acoustic source in turbulent combustion, and diagnostics in reacting flows.
