Here's how drag-reducing agent can outweigh looping or boosting

Journal Article · · Oil Gas J.; (United States)
OSTI ID:6356652
This article shows how a drag-reducing agent (DRA) can be injected to obtain a further increase in throughput capability in pipelines. The systems, until recently, had to be looped or boosted. This paper shows how this liquid loop is used as a tool to benefit operators who need only a little more throughput.
