The US National Transportation Safety Board announces the availability of rail, aircraft, highway, marine, and pipeline safety recommendations and responses, including a response by the US Coast Guard, which agrees to conduct a review, in conjunction with the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Sabine Pilots, of the ''Voluntary Traffic Control Agreement of the Maritime Industry of the Sabine Waterways'', following a two-ship collision in the Neches River near Beaumont, Texas, on 2/25/79.
