In the course of technical industrial improvements in the coal preparation section and at the washery of MMK, the coking division central automation laboratory in cooperation with the divisions and services of the plant, and also with research and development institutes, developed and adopted systems for automatic regulation and control of industrial processes. Here particular attention was given to organizational and technical measures for automation, assisting in increasing labor productivity by increasing production, freeing service personnel, and improving working conditions. 4 figures.
