Mechanisms and temperature dependence of the rates of reactions between NF/sub 2/ radicals and oxygen and nitrogen atoms

Reactions of NF/sub 2/ with O and N under flow conditions were investigated using a combined ESR/LMR spectrometer. For the reaction O + NF/sub 2/ ..-->.. F + FNO k/sub o/ = (1.25 +- 0.25) exp ((0 +- 90)/T), cm/sup 3//sec for T = 300-750 K, for the reaction N + NF/sub 2/ ..-->.. F + N/sub 2/F k/sub N/ = (1.4 /times/ 0.2) /times/ 10/sup /minus/11/ /times/ exp ((/minus/95 +- 60)/T), cm/sup 3//sec for T = 300-795 K.
