Radiolysis of trichlorobenzene. I. Mass spectral investigation of the composition of heavy products of radiolysis

The authors undertake a detailed investigation of the radiolysis of trichlorobenzene (TCB), irradiated individually and in contact with the aqueous phase, and they concentrate particularly on the identification of the composition of the high-molecular-weight fraction of the radiolysis products of TCB. Using spectrometric analysis with direct introduction, they identify 21 compounds (polychloropolyphenyls) and estimate their concentration.
