Search for charmed particles in a neutron beam at the Serpukhov accelerator

The magnetic spark spectrometer method was used to search for charmed particles produced by neutrons of average energy approx.45 GeV. We obtain the upper limits of the partial cross sections for the production of charmed mesons, which decay into two or three charmed hadrons, and for the C/sup +/(2.26) baryon, which decays via the channels C/sup +/..-->..pK/sup -/..pi../sup +/, c/sup +/..-->..pK/sup 0/, and C/sup +/..--> lambda mu../sup +/;....
