Fluoride concentrations in leaves of many plants near some factories were analyzed. It has been shown that many species are able to absorb HF from the air and accumulate it predominantly in leaves. The fluoride concentration in leaves is correlated to the distance from the HF sources. Gladiolus was used to monitor the HF and organic fluorides pollution.
