The fractional independent yield values of /sup 141/La, /sup 142/La, /sup 93/Y, and /sup 92/Y from thermal-neutron-induced fission of /sup 223/U and /sup 93/Y and /sup 92/Y from thermal-neutron-induced fission of /sup 249/Cf were measured by radiochemical methods. Fractional independent yields determined for the thermal-neutron fission of /sup 233/U are: /sup 141/La, 0.026 +- 0.006; /sup 142/La, 0.068 +- 0.010; /sup 92/Y, 0.011 +- 0.001; /sup 93/Y, 0.058 +- 0.011. Fractional independent yields determined for the thermal-neutron fission of /sup 249/Cf are: /sup 92/Y, 0.063 +- 0.016; /sup 93/Y, 0.238 +- 0.057. The lanthanum and yttrium values were combined with previously reported isobaric xenon and krypton fractional-yield values to determine nuclear charge dispersion curves for mass numbers, 141, 142, 92, and 93 from thermal-neutron fission of /sup 233/U and for mass number 92 from thermal-neutron fission of /sup 249/Cf. The Z/sub p/ values for A = 138 to 142 and 92 in /sup 249/Cf thermal-neutron-induced fission were compared with those predicted by similar yields from /sup 235/U fission. The empirical Z/sub p/ values obtained using sigma = 0.69 are in better agreement with predicted values than empirical Z/sub p/ values obtained using sigma = 0.56.
