We have studied the structure of the wave function of the pion within the framework of the relativistic quark model and have found the form factors of the ..pi.., rho, and A/sub 1/ mesons and the transition form factors of the transitions ..omega --> pi gamma.. and A/sub 1/..--> pi gamma... Our results for the ..pi.. and A/sub 1/ meson form factors and for the transition ..omega --> pi gamma.. and the form factor G/sub 3/ of the transition A/sub 1/..--> pi gamma.. are in good quantitative agreement with the predictions of the QCD dispersion sum rules. Our results for the form factors of the rho meson exceed the prediction of the QCD sum rules by approximately a factor of 2.
