Analyzing powers in the /sup 12/C(vector /sup 6/Li,/. cap alpha. //sup 14/N reaction at E(/sup 6/Li) = 20 MeV. [Angular distributions, finite-range DWBA, reaction mechanism]

Angular distributions of analyzing powers were calculated by use of the exact finite-range DWBA method. Attention was focused in the states at 0.0, 6.20, and 9.70 MeV in /sup 14/N. The analyis confirmed a good description of these transitions in terms of a deuteron-cluster direct transfer and also a 2S ..cap alpha.. + d relative motion in /sup 6/Li. 1 figure. (RWR)
