For operators of Yang--Mills type H = summation/sup 4//sub j/ = 1(-i(partial/partialx/sub j/)x1 +A/sub j/(x))/sup 2/+W(x) in L/sup 2/(R/sup 4/)xV the infrared singularity of the resolvent (H-zeta)/sup -1/ is described completely in terms of asymptotic expansions as zeta..-->..0. A/sub j/(x) and W(x) are required to satisfy A/sub j/(x) = O(Vertical BarxVertical Bar/sup -2-delta/), W(x) = O(Vertical BarxVertical Bar/sup -2-delta/), as Vertical BarxVertical Bar..-->..infinity, delta>0.
