Cited reports describe the use of neutron activation analysis to detect trace amounts, down to nanogram levels in some cases, of vanadium, arsenic, selenium, antimony, iodine, bromine, cobalt, iron, potassium, manganese, rubidium, zinc, sodium, cadmium, mercury, chromium, and protein in foods.
