Radiation from tritiated thymidine perturbs the cell cycle progression of stimulated lymphocytes

Journal Article · · Science; (United States)
Tritiated thymidine was found to affect the cell cycle progression of phytohemagglutinin-stimulated human lymphocytes. By means of flow cytometry a statistically significant increase in the G/sub 2/ and M phases of the cell cycle was observed in cultures with low concentrations of tritiated thymidine added 18 hours before the cultures were harvested.
