Azimuthal correlations of identical pions in pion-nucleus and pion-nucleon interactions at p = 40 GeV/c

Data are reported on the azimuthal correlations of (..pi../sup + -/..pi../sup + -/) pairs produced in pion-nucleon and pion-nucleus interactions at p = 40 GeV/c. The results are compared with data on correlations of (..pi../sup +/..pi../sup -/) pairs.
