Plants and polluted air

The injuries to plants caused by ozone and sulfur dioxide are discussed. The movements of a toxic air pollutant (ozone is used as an example) are described using algebraic equations. The transfer of pollutants to forest canopies is also discussed. The role of plants as air pollution control devices is also discussed. 23 references, 5 figures.
