Data are tabulated on the gross ..beta.. activity in samples of air and precipitation collected at sampling stations throughout the US in March 1962. Measurements were made of surface air radon, thoron, and fission product gross ..beta.. concentrations in surface air at Cincinnati, Ohio, during February and March 1962 and of gross ..beta.. activity in surface air near the 80th Meridian West. Data are tabulated on the radioactivity of raw agricultural products exposed to fall-out, and of samples of milk and surface waters. Selected foods, representing 19 food categories incorporated in the average diet at three locations, were analyzed for /sup 90/Sr content during August, September, and October 1961. Data are included on the radioactivity of water supplies in the area of the Nevada Test Site, external ..gamma.. activity at selected sites, and environmental levels of radioactivity at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Mound Laboratory, and the National Reactor Testing Station during the third and fourth quarters of 1961. Data is tabulated on /sup 131/I concentration in human thyroid glands examined during the last quarter of 1961.
