Analysis of series resistance of pCdTc-nCdS film photoconverters

The series resistance of pCdTe-nCdS film photoconverters is analyzed and the optimal dimensions are determined for the upper current-contact strips and the distance between them; the aim is to obtain maximum power from unit area for prescribed values of the microparameters of the cadmium sulfide and telluride layers. The experimental series-resistance value of pCdTe-nCdS photoconverters is in satisfactory agreement with the results of calculations.
