The methods cover the determination of the radiochemical purity and the absolute disintegration rate of phosphorus-32 radioisotope preparations. Impurities of interest are those that may be encountered in commercial preparations. Test methods included are: heavy metal spot test, precipitate test, phosphorus-32 concentration, aluminum absorption curve, gamma-ray impurities, free acid, total solids, and nonvolatile materials.
