A phase-shift analysis of data on pp scattering in the interval 630--950 MeV is carried out at the energies 630 +- 20, 670 +- 20, 720 +- 15, 760 +- 25, 800 +- 12, and 950 +- 20 MeV. The analysis is made with l/sub max/ = 7. Unique solutions similar to the solution of Arndt et al. (1980) are obtained at 630 and 800 MeV. The phase-shift analysis does not give unique solutions at 670, 720, 760, and 950 MeV. An analysis of the energy dependence of the phase shifts makes it possible to select the most probable solution which exists over the entire studied interval of energies. The energy dependence of the partial-wave amplitudes for this solution indicates the possible existence of diproton resonances in the /sup 1/D/sub 2/ and /sup 3/F/sub 3/ states.
