The Longitudinal Socioeconomic Monitoring Study has been conducted to compare actual socioeconomic changes which accompany the construction of coal-fired electric power plants with those projected in impact statements. Volume II analyzes the socioeconomic changes in McLean County, ND which have accompanied the construction of Coal Creek Station. Of particular importance are data describing types of changes occurring in the early stages of construction and analysis of deviations from impact projections.
