The Longitudinal Socioeconomic Monitoring Study has been conducted to compare actual socio-economic changes which accompany the construction of coal-fired electric power plants with those projected in impact statements. Volume V deals with Kimball County, a control county being matched with Platte County, WY. This volume analyzes social and economic changes in a county with little population growth.
