3 p sup 6 3 d sup 8 --3 p sup 5 3 d sup 9 Transitions in ironlike Sb

Transitions of the type 3{ital p}{sup 6}3{ital d}{sup 8}--3{ital p}{sup 5}3{ital d}{sup 9} in Sb{sup 25+} have been identified in the spectrum from a plasma produced by irradiating a planar foil target, using line-focused laser irradiation. The wavelengths in the range 44--62 A were determined with an uncertainty of {plus minus}0.007 A. Based on the 45 observed wavelength combinations, energy-level values were established for 9 levels of the 3{ital p}{sup 6}3{ital d}{sup 8} configuration and 12 levels of the 3{ital p}{sup 5}3{ital d}{sup 9} configuration with an uncertainty of 200 cm{sup {minus}1}. The wavelengths and energy levels were compared with previously observed and predicted values.
