  1. Chemical Manufacturers Assoc. (US)
CMA is developing a fugitive emissions database for use by CMA member companies. The database closely follows, Guidance for Estimating Fugitive Emissions, a protocol developed by CMA member companies to help chemical facilities estimate and measure fugitive emissions. The data management system that is being developed consists of three parts. First, it includes a Pc program for use on an IBMpc compatible computer. This floppy disk will record all of the data that member companies obtain from testing using the CMA protocol onto a data diskette. This program will also be able to provide some data analysis at the plant. In the second phase, software will developed to analyze the field data from the data diskette and produce a detailed report that will be sent back to the plant. The third phase will allow the plant data to be compiled into a composite database and will provide a mechanism to perform statistical analyses on the data.
