INPO accreditation of PSE and G
This presentation highlights the most significant activities associated with receiving the Institute of Nuclear Power Operation's (INP) accreditation for all ten programs at Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE and G) Company's Salem Nuclear Generating Station (SNGS). Particular emphasis is placed on resource demand, impact on other activities, lessons learned, and the resulting changes on both the training organization and the qualifications of personnel operating and maintaining a nuclear generating station. Current and future efforts to maintain and modify SNGS programs to meet regulatory and industry standards, as well as company needs, are addressed, along with plans for INPO accreditation of the recently licensed Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station (HCNGS).
