The high temperature corrosion of iron and iron alloys is discussed in the cited reports. The effects of sulfur containing fuels on the sulfidation process are presented as they relate to corrosion in gas turbines, coal gasification, and fluidized bed processors. Changes in both physical and metallurgical properties due to sulfidation are also discussed. The use of additives to reduce the sulfidation process is also included. (This updated bibliography contains 120 citations, 36 of which are new entries to the previous edition.)
