Design of surface facilities for Khuff gas

Although it was discovered in 1947, commercial exploitation of the Bahrain Khuff reservoir began in 1970. Current gas demand stands at 580 MMscf/D (16.4 x 10/sup 6/ std m/sup 3//d) and is growing rapidly. This paper briefly discusses the evolution of the design for surface facilities and field experience. The established design parameters could be used for the design of surface facilities for similar reservoirs.
