Design of surface facilities for Khuff gas

Although discovered in 1947 commercial exploitation of Bahrain Khuff reservoir was started in 1970. Current gas demand stands at 580 MMSCFD and is growing rapidly. This paper briefly deals with the evolution of the design for surface facilities and the field experience. The design parameters established could be used for the design of surface facilities for similar reservoirs.
