THOR: a post-processor for two-dimensional analysis codes. [In FORTRAN IV for CDC 7600 and Cray-1]

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5361413

A user's manual for the post-processor THOR is provided. THOR reads the binary plot files generated by the two-dimensional finite-element codes currently used at LLL and plots contours, time histories, and deformed shapes. Contours of a large number of quantities may be plotted on meshes consisting of triangular and variable node (4 to 8 nodes/element) quadrilateral elements. THOR can compute a variety of strain measures at either Gauss integration or nodal points, interface pressures along slide lines, reaction forces along constrained boundaries, response spectra, and momentum. THOR is operational on the CDC 7600 and Cray-1 computers. 10 figures.
