Method for calculating the profiles of focones and foclines

Methods are described that permit rapid construction, with sufficient accuracy for practical purposes, of profiles for parabolic-torus focones and parabolic-cylinder foclines for solar concentrators. The radius-vector values required for constructing the profile of the parabola are tabulated. A sample calculation is given for the profile of a focone and focline with parametric angle of 20/sup 0/.
