Gamma-ray lifetimes for parity doublets in /sup 41/K, /sup 41/Ca

Lifetimes have been measured by direct timing for the 1582 keV, 3/2/sup -/ level of /sup 41/K(tau<38 ps) and the 2010 keV, 3/2/sup +/ level of /sup 41/Ca(tau=730 +- 18 ps). These levels are members of closely spaced parity doublets. The sensitivity of measurements to determine the parity mixing within these doublets is discussed.
