Properties of some high spin states in $sup 41$Ca

The level scheme of /sup 41/Ca was investigated with the reactions /sup 40/Ca (/sup 3/He, 2p) /sup 41/Ca at 14.5 and 18 MeV and /sup 39/K (/sup 7/L i, alpha n) /sup 41/Ca at 20 MeV, measuring the gamma - gamma coincidence for both reactions and the lifetimes of some excited levels for the first reaction. In addition to the known levels, a new level is found at 5220 keV from the /sup 7/Li reaction. Some definite limits for the spin of the different levels are established. (LBS)
