Superconducting lead variable-thickness microbridges

We report the first investigation of superconducting lead variable-thickness microbridges. The bridges were fabricated by a two-step deposition process without breaking the vacuum using oblique evaporation. The characteristics are presented and compared with theoretical predictions.
