The coking charge includes flotation concentrate, containing a certain quantity of flotation reagents on its surface. An investigation of the effect of these reagents on the properties of coal during thermal destruction (and in the final analysis on the quality of the coke) appears of definite interest in this regard. For the investigation we chose Kuznetsk coal types G, Zh, and K and individual organic compounds of various types, constituting component parts of the most widely used flotation reagents.
