We report resistivity {rho} and thermopower {ital S} measurements between 1.7 and 300 K on the Ce{sub 3}Sn{sub 1{minus}{ital x}}In{sub {ital x}} system. For {ital x}{gt}0.4, the {rho} curves exhibit a minimum ({ital T}{le}60 K), whereas a negative minimum ({ital T}{le}30 K) was observed in the {ital S} studies, giving evidence for Kondo-like scattering. For {ital x}{lt}0.4, the minimum in {ital S} shifted to positive values, whereas the {rho} curves exhibited a knee'' instead of the usual minimum indicating anomalous behavior. For {ital T}{lt}10 K, a steep drop in {rho} and the sharp rise in {ital S} with the occurrence of a maximum (for {ital x}{lt}0.14) at {ital T}{le}5 K gave evidence for coherence-derived effects in these Kondo-lattice compounds.
