University opts for MCC Powers EMS with DDC

A direct-digital-control (DDC) capability and the willingness of the manufacturer to help Drake University personnel customize the MCC Powers System 600 would have made it the university's choice even if it hadn't been the low bid. The precision of DDC makes the system more responsive and reduces adjustments and maintenance. Drake expects to meet a seven-year payback limit within five years. The bids of the firms with competing systems are summarized.
