Analysis of anomalies in the excitation function for the reaction /sup 7/Li(t,p)/sup 9/Li

In the framework of the general theory of nuclear reactions an analytic expression for the excitation function of the reaction /sup 7/Li(t,p)/sup 9/Li near the /sup 7/Li(t,n)/sup 9/Be thresholds is obtained, assuming the existence of nearby T = 2 levels of the /sup 10/Be compound nucleus. With the help of this expression the experimental data are described using the least-squares method. Analysis of the adjustable parameters allowed us to determine the energies and widths of the levels of /sup 10/Be and to estimate the neutron binding energy in /sup 10/Li.
