A description is given of an experimental study of the channels of the reaction /sup 7/Li+t in the incident-triton energy range E/sub t/=5.43--5.95 MeV. In the channel /sup 9/Li+/sup 1/H a sharp minimum is observed which interpreted as a near-threshold anomaly due to the threshold in the channel /sup 9/Be*(E/sub x/=14.4 MeV)+n. On the basis of an analysis of the shape of the yield curve of threshold neutrons, their orbital quantum number has been determined as 1/sub n/=0. From this fact it is concluded that the proposed state of /sup 10/Be near threshold with T=2 has negative parity.
