This patent describes a plug for controlling flow through a lock mandrel. It comprises: a valve housing connectable to the lock mandrel and having flow ports therethrough; a cap connected on the valve housing; prong means in the valve housing. The prong means including an upper section having flow ports therethrough and seals thereon below the port. The prong means longitudinally moveable from an open position permitting flow through the housing the housing ports; means for locking the prong means in closed position including a retainer connected to the prong upper section below the seals, upper and lower shoulders on the retainer, and a c-ring around the retainer engageable with the lower end of the valve housing; and means for releasably retaining the prong means in the valve housing.
